AI Engineer (Remote Sensing)

We are Sanzar Group, a technology company based in Madrid that develops advanced solutions in autonomous systems, space technology, remote sensing, and precision agriculture. We combine artificial intelligence, satellite data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to create products with real impact in sectors such as space, agri-food, security, and healthcare.
We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team and develop predictive models applied to different sectors, using sensor data, orbital data, satellite imagery, geospatial data, information from IoT field sensors, and other data sources.
Responsibilities
Design, train, and validate machine learning models for risk prediction, sensor fusion, and positioning.
Develop and optimize computer vision pipelines applied to satellite imagery and other geospatial data.
Integrate heterogeneous data, including IoT sensors, climate data, and topography, into a unified analysis platform.
Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy models in production environments across cloud and edge.
Requirements
Proven experience in machine learning and predictive modeling.
Experience in computer vision, ideally with satellite imagery or GIS data.
Strong proficiency in Python and AI libraries or frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
Experience working with large datasets and designing data pipelines.
Nice to have
Previous experience with IoT systems, including sensor data acquisition, device integration, and protocols.
Knowledge of geospatial data tools such as GDAL, rasterio, Google Earth Engine, or similar.
Experience deploying models in the cloud with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with MLOps.
