Logistic Flying Car: the vehicle that flies and drives the last mile

The Logistic Flying Car (LFC) is a hybrid unmanned vehicle. It flies between destinations and, when it reaches a zone with restricted airspace, switches to ground mode and carries on driving autonomously. That lets it deliver parcels on urban last-mile routes that a conventional drone cannot use.

Prototype results
- Over 23 km on a single charge. It covers a full urban delivery route without stopping to recharge, so operations can run all day.
- 60% faster than ground-only delivery. By combining flight with autonomous driving, it gets through congested city centres well ahead of a conventional courier.
- Always airspace compliant. It switches to ground mode automatically in restricted zones, so no mission is interrupted in regulated city centres.
- 360° obstacle detection. Its sensors cover the whole perimeter for safe navigation through pedestrian streets and narrow passages.

Why it matters
In many cities regulations keep drones on the ground and traffic slows traditional delivery to a crawl. The LFC flies where it can and drives where it must: fast, clean and autonomous last-mile delivery exactly where it is needed most.

Next steps
The current LFC is a first working prototype with plenty of room to improve: lighter composite materials to cut structural weight, more powerful motors to carry a bigger payload and refined aerodynamics for longer range. The next version is already in development.
